Unlike international calendar where its new year will be at 1st january, Moslem calendar have its own. And for this year, the moslem new year is on December 29th, 2008. It means tonight Moslem all over the world, especially who live in Indonesia, have celebrated their new year eve. FYI, Moslem new year eve in Indonesia is also be known as “malam 1 suro” where that time is believed by some people have huge magical power compared to another day.

The celebration of Moslem New Year in this country may be vary depending on where city you’re living. Since tonight I am still staying in my lovely city Wonogiri, the celebration is so great. Most people, both young people and adult people are out from their house walking in the street or even up all night long anywhere.

Sadly, I myself still staying in front of my laptop to optimize my Busby SEO Test and not joining them who have celebrate this magical new year. lol.

If I’m not wrong, the last Google PageRank Update was held in last October 2008 ago. Considering that Google PageRank Update usually being held in every 3 months, I think it will be in the next few days. 1. Start your website with an aged domain. Although it generally costs higher, but it of course will help your website to bypass Google Sandbox rapidly. Besides that, using an aged domain will benefit our SEO for several factors. Like in this Busby SEO Test, i didn’t start with a new domain, but rather starting it with an existing domain

2. Start your website with less competitive keywords. The reason is that startin a new site with competitive keywords is so difficult, so that starting with less competitive keywords will help us. However, choose the targeted keywords before you start, it’s really important for your next efforts.

3. Keep update your content. By make a regular update, it’s pretty believed that you can rapidly out from the Google Sandbox.

4. Keep active to build backlinks. Like make a regular update, regular backlinks you have made will also help your site to out from sandbox rapidly.

I believe that some of us already familiar with some kind of ethical or unethical SEO, however, here I just want to remind you the three common SEO mistakes that directly or indirectly often done by us, especially in this Busby Test Contest. What are the three common seo mistakes I meant? Just check it out.

Firstly is Cloaking. Cloaking for some people often described as the search engine technique which divide a page into two separate content. One for real user, while the other one is for search engine. The consequence of the use of this technique usually is a ban from search engine.

Secondly is hidden text. Hidden text, although it looks has no meaning, but usually it makes the search engines really upset and usually resulting search engine ban too, even more, our page will get a big penalty from search engine. Hidden text technique usually trick your reader with text color which same or even similar to your background color.

While for the last one is Flash/JS navigation. Although it won’t result search engine penalty, but it will affect your whole content because the Search engine spiders will have difficulty to retrieve our content.

By knowing the three common seo mistakes above, I hope we will only do the ethical optimization for our own sites/blog, or even our client site/blog. I am pretty believe that most of us have already familiar with common firefox addons for SEOers that available free on the internet. However, I think it’s still worth to write here again since there must be one of my reader that haven’t yet know it. For that reason, now I will write common tools for SEO that i have already known. If there is anything left, please let me know it, I will add it asap in this Busby SEO Test blog . But before we start, I’d like to inform you that these tools is only for Firefox, that means, we will just using its addons . Now, just check these following tools and test it out in your own .

1. Livehttpheaders, it’s a quite a technical firefox addons that allow us easily to analyise our header responses
2. LinkCounter, this addons able to count any links in the given page in Firefox status bar. this addon also able to identify any links and highlighting them by type such feeds, mails, empty files, internal, targets, anchors, and external.
3. Netcraft toolbar, it able to generate the age of any site and indentifies the location of its hosting.

May be three firefox addons above are not enough to support our SEO efforts and even in this busby seo test contest. However, i think it’s very useful to support ours. Just test it out guys!!

Unlike my previous post which saying that this blog is not moving, today my Busby SEO Test finally moved to top #20. seeing this results, I must say thank God and thank to all of my friends who always give me a real support and effort. May be some of you will wonder why I am so happy with this results even only in the top #20, my reason is that the competition in the Busby Seo Test contest is very hard, so that how small improvement I have, I will always feel happy.

Making an self criticism for this busby test blog, perhaps the best way to boost my ranking at the search engine is only through regular update. Why do I assume that? Because my efforts to find backlink from several weeks ago seems to be useless. I say useless because in fact, I don’t see any improvement for this Carissa Putri blog in the several weeks ago.

Based on my wrong assumption above, starting from today, I will try only to optimize this busby test sites through on page optimization, which mean, I will only make a regular update for it. If possible, I will try to keep it update with fresh and original content one in a day. Hahaha… am I look dreaming? Don’t be surprised dude, that’s just my wish. In fact, I cn guarantee if I can make a regular update here. As you can see in my archives, I never able to update it regularly before . Well, do you think I have to hire some content writer right now? xixixiiii…

PS: I got position #20 today, I don’t know whether my busby seo test position will survive or not in the next few days. So, just let’s see it.

To do this, we used to have no difficulties because most blogger or webmaster will link to yours too if you firstly link theirs. In order your links have a quality in the search engine, please just link your site to another sites that have similar content or even similar themes with yours. Besides that, you can also do this yourself by spreading your link through a comment in each blog you are visited.

2. Social Bookmarking , Social Media and Forums
Using a social bookmarking or a social media to distribute your feed is a good idea too. For instance is distributing yours into Technorati, Digg, Dmoz, etc. It is important to do since the social media usually have millions reader every day, so that we’ll have more chance to have traffics from there. Like submitting our content to social media and social bookmarking, joining a huge forum is also worth to try. Because we can include our signature in each post we made there.

Two types of search engine optimisation above probably have been already known by us, but trust me, with two steps above, we can have cheap or even free optimization for our sites.
