First trick when you have duplicate content in your blog is, just try to find what type of duplicate content you have. Is it on your title or it’s really in your post entry. If both of them, what you need to do is just editing your title and editing your article then done. Now the question is, how if the duplicate content are caused by your unfriendly seo theme?
In my experience, there are two ways to resolve it. For the first one you need to edit your wordpress theme. Then for the second one you need some kind of meta robots plugin which help you to block any content that suspected to be the main source of your duplicate content.

Using meta robots plugin is not only easy, but also very effective to block some content that used to be the main source of duplicate content like page archive, category, tags etc. More over, you can also block all your wp-admin directory not to be indexed by bots spider.
